Overall the insights we collected provided a glimpse into what makes the Azalea Festival special and how we can improve as an organization. Below are some of the key findings.

1. Estimates indicate over 30,000 attendees joined us in 2022.
   

2. Over 85% of all festival attendees said they will be back.

3. 20% of all attendees were from outside of Pickens County.

4. Each attendee brings between $30 – $250 with the average person bringing $75 to spend at the festival.
   

5. The estimated economic impact of the festival to the region each year is approximately $2,250,000.
   

6. Attendees are interested in one-of-a-kind, handmade products that cost between $15 – $50 with an average cost of $30.
   

7. Attendees are comfortable spending up to $15 per plate of food.
   

8. From all data sources, it seems the core audience of the festival is predominately 35-54 year old, hard working mothers of 2+ children from across the Upstate of S.C.
   

9. Over the past 4 years we have reached people in all 50 states.
